Moving on to May....

May was full of lots of fun stuff...Mother's Day, a 1/2 marathon, a few surprises and birthdays!

In mid-May I ran my first half marathon, and as part of the pre-race activities there was a kids' 1/4 mile fun run. Sophia had so much fun and smiled the whole time. The next day, I had my race with my friend, Lindsay. We had so much fun, that we're now training for full marathon in October (Edie is going to run that one with us, too, right Edie??).

Greetings, Blogfans!

Hello, hello! We're still alive... Lots to report since the last posting, so I'll try to keep the stories short and sweet.

EASTER....

We spent Easter in Montana this year with the Tognetti crew. The girls are getting to be such great little roadtrippers...with the exception of having to stop about 5 times for Sasha to pee on the way home, everything went smoothly, and it beats being stuck in a teeny row of airplane seats.

Here are some picture highlights from the trip, as well as a link to the whole set (there are a bunch of pictures in this set of the girls with a teddy bear -- this was part of a preschool project for Sophia. Cubby the bear had to go everywhere with us for 2 days, and we had to keep a pohto journal of our adventures.)

Stella's Up-do

I gave Stella a quick haircut the other day...perhaps better stated as performing "mullet control". Afterwards, I decided it was time for her first pretty-pretty. She seems to have a weak scalp and hated every minute of me trying to pull her hair up into the piggy tail. The girl has to learn that being fashionable isn't always easy.

Mila May's Baptism

We took a trip to South Dakota last weekend to visit the family...Missy, Cas, and the kids, AND Edie and Adam went as well, so it was a nice, little family reunion. All 9 (10 counting Dudley) grandkids were in the same place for the first time -- and do you think we got a picture of it? Of course not.

Mila was baptized while we were there, and Michael and I were very happy to be her Godparents. Here is a picture link from the fun weekend!

February - March Picture Set

Here is a link to pictures from the last few weeks. Lots of good stuff on here, including Sasha's soccer practice pics...I love how cute the littles look in their "official" uniforms; Stella's first shiner; poodle dress pics - Thanks, Grandma Cathie!; and some highlights from Stella's birthday.

Happy 1st Birthday, Stelly!!!

We celebrated Stella's 1st birthday on March 8th!! Edie and Adam came up for pizza, cake and presents... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STELLA!!! You are getting so big so fast! xoxox

March visitors...

We've had a couple of visitors the past few weeks.

First, our Chicago friend, Kelly, came to visit us...we had so much fun with her. Thanks for coming out, Kel!
Then Grammy Cathie flew down to visit us for a few days, too. The girls loooooove when she comes, because she lets them play in her make-up....so, in some of the pictures you'll notice eye shadow and lipstick on #1 and #2. Needless to say, Stella is pretty excited about the day when she gets to take part in the fun, too.
