Our new buddy is here!

Congratulations to Missy and Cas on their new little bundle, Jackson Paul, who was born this morning (August 9th). Click here to check their blog for updates and pictures.

Since it has been over 4 years since one of my sisters has had a baby (or in other words, since Laurie decided to stop having babies), I had forgotten how much fun it is to be a new aunt! We are SO excited for the new family of three. I'm sure Morgan is ecstatic that he is no longer the only boy grandkid on the Aberle side. He's been crossing his fingers for another boy since Hannah was born, I think. ;-)

Good work, guys - we can't wait to meet the little guy!

Hugs and kisses to all!

Dear Natalie & Michael...your blog is so much fun to follow. This whole blog "thing" is new to us and just a great way to communicate. I got the biggest kick out of the creative bed making the girls came up with. Pretty intelligent problem solvers! It brought to mind an old story of friends of ours who had twin boys. Most of the time they were noisy and running in opposite directions. One Sun. morning they were quiet and their parents were grateful for a few extra minutes of sleep...when it stayed quiet for too long they went to check and found the boys busy "painting" the walls with the just about empty contents of a huge jar of vaseline and a huge jar of diaper rash cream. The 18 mo old boys had figured out how to climb to the top of the very tall dresser where the goodies were stashed. Mom and Dad "payed" for the xtra sleep with an all day clean-up. Count your blessings, it could have been worse!!!

What beautiful daughters you have. Little Jackson is so lucky to have them and so many cousins to enjoy. We really enjoyed spending time with your Mom and Dad, Nat. Cas and Missy are off to an excellant start as parents. All we do is stare at Jackson. He is the first baby in 17 years for our family and extended family. It's been quite a celebration. Love to you all xoxox
